ABCs from the Quran part 1: Letters A-C

A is for ant 

Arabic word: naml means ant. 

 Quran Chapter (surah): Surah An-Naml 27:18.

Quran verse: “Till when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his Armies crush you, unpercieving.”

I will be trying to keep these posts short but if you feel other ways to improve on them, suggest away.

B is for bird. 

Arabic word: tayr means a bird.

Quran Chapter (surah): Surah al-Baqarah 2:260.

Quran verse: “And [mention] when Abraham said, “My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.” [ Allah ] said, “Have you not believed?” He said, “Yes, but [I ask] only that my heart may be satisfied.” [ Allah ] said, “Take four birds and commit them to yourself. Then [after slaughtering them] put on each hill a portion of them; then call them – they will come [flying] to you in haste. And know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise

C is for camel

Arabic word: ibil means camel

Quran Chapter (surah): al-Ghaashiyah 88:17

Quran verse: “Then do they not look at the camels – how they are created?”
