For Sale!

July 21, 2009

I think we are nearing the end for our search for the “perfect” house. Its in a neighborhood I would not totally agree with but as I told my hubby “if you’re happy, I’m happy”. I really do mean it too because I do not want to be the wife who dictates to her husband and makes him bend to her will.

I know of a man who moved in with his in-laws and is still living with them in a two bedroom apartment all because his wife could not live in the same house as where her father in law died. He did not die in the house but in the hospital and she still used that as an excuse. She is a very smart woman who convinced everyone about her NEED to move to NY. She had a house there that her mom bought for her and the economy is getting worse and she could not sell her house for as much as she wanted. All of it total nonsense. His family makes fun of him behind his back and calls him whipped.

The whole point to this post is that Inshallah the longggggggggggg search for the house might be over…will keep you guys updated!

Oh I hope you end up in love with it when your husband decides. I know I would have trouble just saying "If you're happy I'm happy" though. I guess imight though if we'd been looking for a while. We just bought a car and I didn't likethe first one my hub chose because of the colour… then luckily we found the same car in a colour I love!! So we're both happy. He told me he couldn't buy the car if I didn't like it but now I do! It was just the white made it look weird to me. Dark silver: much more stylish.

I hope you guys finally pick one!!And i dont understand why everyone gets upset with her for doing what she did. she wanted to be closer to her family, whats so bad about that? I would TOTALLY do the same thing she did without any hesitation, and i sure as hell wouldnt wait as long as she did.

Humble ourselves for God.For example someone may say girl you got so much patience, our response should be…Alhamdulillah. And if we feel extra egotistical, say Allah has given this to me, which shows us and Allah that we remember Him in good times and bad and He's the one who gives / takes patience. P.S. make dua for patience, therefore when we get it we recognize it as from Allah and that itself makes us more humbler in our approach Inshallah.
